SimpleXLSX class but this class can not import .xls file

I think you should ask for help to the author of that package in its support forum.

The author seems to be very helpful, so he may help you faster dealing with that file.

Just go there and click on the Post a new forum message link.

Maybe you want to import a file in the old Excel format and that class does not support it. In that case, you may return here, so another class can be recommended for your purposes.
